Reviewed By: Herr Mike Style: IPA State/Country: Pennsylvania ABV: 7.9% Serving Type: 12 oz Look: 8 Dark amber color, medium head, very light lacing Smell: 7.5 Malty, citrus, grass Taste: 7.5 Malt forward, pine, grass, biscuit, Mouthfeel: 8 Sticky with medium carbonation Drinkability: 8 I like it but it's very malty for an IPA. WTF? Overall Score: 7.8 Value: 9
Cost/12 oz serving: $1.65 Overall Impression: If the label said Pale Ale this would be awesome, but it's an IPA! I can recommend this if you're a person that doesn't like hoppy IPA's (which doesn't make sense when to me when I hear that). This hog is a little lean on the hops. It's like eating bacon with no fat. Why bother.
