Reviewed By: Herr Mike Style: Barleywine State/Country: Vermont ABV: 7.2% Serving Type: 12 oz Look: 8 Copper color, head fades faster than a Ferrari, Very sparse lacing Smell: 7 Faint hints of chocolate and malt Taste: 6 Wet leaves, figs, toast, wood Mouthfeel: 6 Thin with low carbonation Drinkability: 5 Watery and weak for the style. MEH! Overall Score: 6.4 Value: 7 Cost/12 oz serving: $1.75 Overall Impression: This has to be one of the lamest Barlywines I ever drank. This was the second bottle I cracked because the first bottle was so flat I thought it was a bad bottle. This bottle had carbonation but it fizzled so fast and it tasted like flat soda. This was a dumper for me.
