Reviewed By: Herr Mike Style: Black IPA State/Country: Pennsylvania ABV: 6.5% Serving Type: 12 oz Look: 9 Coffee black color, thick tan head, sticky lacing Smell: 8 Coffee, pine, wood Taste: 7 Pine, coffee, cocoa, earthy, burnt toast Mouthfeel: 8 Medium with medium carbonation Drinkability: 7 A little too much coffee going on. One and done. Overall Score: 7.8 Value: 9 Cost/12 oz serving: $1.67 Overall Impression: I like a good Black IPA once in a while , especially when you can't decide between an IPA or a Stout. The coffee notes dominated and it was a little too much for me. If you like hoppy coffee I would suggest it. It just was a little off for my taste.
