Reviewed By: Herr Mike Style: Double/Imperial IPA State/Country: England ABV: 7.2% Serving Type: 16 oz Look: 8 Pale amber color, small white head, stringy lacing Smell: 7 grass, citrus Taste: 7 Grass, lemon, biscuit, pine, herbal Mouthfeel: 7 Slick with medium carbonation Drinkability: 8 This is not a hop bomb. Oh wait! It's English. Overall Score: 7.4 Value: 7 Cost/12 oz serving: $6.00 Overall Impression: I guess this would be a hoppy beer by British standards, but it was very herbal tasting to me. At 7 pounds I didn't think it had enough weight and malt backbone to be a good DIPA.
