I would say it was citrus forward and a little sharp for the style. If you like a wheat beer with a little bite than this brew is for you.

Overall Impression: A like most of the beers that Shmaltz brew and I've had some of the other Star Trek but this one didn't blow me away. If you're a trekkie and like the style then beam some up for yourself
Reviewed By: Herr Mike Style: Wheat Ale State/Country: California ABV: 4.9% Serving Type: 12 oz Look: 7 Clear gold color, small white head, spotty lacing Smell: 8 Honey cereal, fruity Taste: 8 Cereal, corn, lemon Mouthfeel: 8 Crisp with medium carbonation Drinkability: 8 This drink more like a Pilsner than a wheat beer Overall Score: 7.8 Value: 8 Cost/12 oz serving: $1.67 Overall Impression: I like Alpine's IPA's but this beer was a big disappointment. No big fluffy head you usually get with wheat beers and the wheat was so lackluster it didn't even taste like a wheat beer. I'd pass on this one.
