I usually look for more of that caramel biscuit character in an APA, which was there, but not as pronounced. If you're looking for a hoppier APA then this will do the trick.

Nice hop kick. Overall Score: 8.4 Value: 9 Cost/12 oz serving: $1.94 Overall Impression: This beer was good but could use a little more malt backbone to make it outstanding. It's still a very good beer that hop heads should seek out.

Beautiful color and very sessionable. A nice malt backbone with just a touch of bitterness gives this beer nice balance. Nice change of pace from the hop bombs and the heavy dark brews. The price is nice too!

Nice nightcap. Overall Score: 8.2 Value: 8 Cost/12 oz serving: $2.45 Overall Impression: It's a solid offering from Long Trail. Not a huge Amber Ale drinker but I liked this big bold brew!

A hard to find beer even though High Point Brewing is in my home state! This beer is worth seeking out!
