Reviewed By: Herr Mike Style: Spiced Beer State/Country: Michigan ABV: 6% Serving Type: 12 oz Look: 9 Medium amber color, off white head, sticky lacing Smell: 8 Pumpkin spice, cinnamon, clove, malt Taste: 7 Spice, cookie, toast, nutty, soapy, very long spicy finish that lingers Mouthfeel: 7 Medium with medium carbonation Drinkability: 6 If you like spicy beer, go for it! Too much spice and a weird aftertaste. One and done! Overall Score: 7.4 Value: 8 Cost/12 oz serving: $1.75 Overall Impression: So far I have liked Arcadia beers but this one was a total miss for me. They should have called this beer “Deception Ale” because the label leads you to believe it's a Pumpkin Ale, but guess what? There's no pumpkin in it! It's overly spiced (like those spiced cookies my Nana had in her house). So, Pumpkin Beer haters rejoice! You have a non pumpkin Pumpkin Ale you can drink, if you can get past the spices!
Reviewed By: Herr Mike Style: Stout State/Country: Wisconsin ABV: 7% Serving Type: 12 oz Look: 8 Cola color, tan head, sparse lacing Smell: 7 Coffee, chocolate, roasted malts Taste: 8 Coffee, chocolate, malty, slight bitterness on back end Mouthfeel: 7 Light to medium with medium carbonation Drinkability: 8 Not a heavy stout. Easy to drink, Could do at least two. Overall Score: 7.6 Value: 9 Cost/12 oz serving: $1.52 Overall Impression: This was a decent Stout. It didn't knock my socks off, but it was not expensive and would be a nice starter Stout for newbies before they jumped into the more complex Stouts out there.

It tastes stronger than the ABV implies, and if you like the style, you might like it. It just wasn't for me.
